We are thrilled to present the latest Thame Remembers newsletter. This edition features a spotlight on how the French celebrate Remembrance Day and a focus on Private Albert George Thomlinson after we helped the Commonwealth War Graves Commission with additional research on his imprisonment in a war camp in 1940.
As we approach the end of 2016, the town and project team can reflect and be proud of a very productive year. There have been many highlights and new connections made along the way and we are excited about 2017.
The Thame Remembers wreath was laid yesterday at the memorial to remember the 213 soldiers we are commemorating. The whole town seemed to be out to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in a moving ceremony. The TR team had a stall and helped sell poppies for the British Royal Legion.
